What can employers do to help their employees with the rising cost of everything? The construction industry is one that has remained fairly unscathed during the pandemic and the fallout that continues to follow. The cost of materials has increased exponentially, but there is still demand for works, and the industry hasn't slowed down.
This, however, does not mean that people employed in the industry are not facing the perilous option of 'Heat or Eat' this winter. The toll taken on the public is the worst financial crisis this country has seen since the 1950s.
